Surface Breakers is a film about permeability, reimagining hard surfaces as entrances. It is a film for birds who fly at windows and hit glass. Exploring a material fantasy in which the ever so present glass in the built world retains its liquidity from the hot shop; could it be passed through or sunken into? The film tries to evoke the feeling of being in a transitional space through immersive underwater worlds and a figure somewhere between bird and human, swimming forever against a waterfall.
